February: Marriage and Engagement

Amnesty month has ended, and we return to our regularly scheduled themes! The next amnesty will be in July.

The theme for February is Marriage and Engagement. Your characters can be proposing, planning their wedding, getting married, celebrating an anniversary, or whatever you want as long as it revolves around marriage and/or engagement.

Some possible ideas if you want them:

• Waking up married


• Arranged marriage / marriage of convenience / shotgun wedding


• Bad guys interrupt the wedding


• A character's plans to propose are derailed by their partner getting ill/injured


• Bachelor party/stag night or bachelorette party/hen night


• Marriage rituals in SFF cultures/settings


• Traditional wedding anniversary gifts


• Anything from this list
