Trope of the Month

Welcome to a new month!

The theme for March is Pregnancy and Parenthood. Your characters can be preparing for a baby, looking after a sick child, celebrating a birthday or milestone, or whatever you want as long as it revolves around pregnancy and/or parenting.

Some possible ideas if you want them:

• Unexpected pregnancy


• Going into labour at an inconvenient time


• Adopting/unexpectedly gaining a child


• Dealing with a sick/cranky baby or child


• Milestones - first word, first step, first birthday, first day of school, etc


• How pregnancy/parenthood works in fictional species/cultures


• Parenting from the child's perspective - what do they think of their guardians?
