The theme for April is Bonding Over Trauma. Your characters can be surviving captivity together, supporting each other through a traumatic experience, dealing with a shared past, or whatever you want as long as it involves bonding and traumatic experiences.

Some possible ideas if you want them:

Keeping each other's spirits up during captivity

A moment of peace during a war/battle/emergency

Bonding over similar past traumas

Trying to return to normal life together after shared trauma

No one understands what they've been through except [other character(s)]

A shared past leads to knowing/understanding each other in a way no one else can

The theme for March is Pregnancy and Parenthood. Your characters can be preparing for a baby, looking after a sick child, celebrating a birthday or milestone, or whatever you want as long as it revolves around pregnancy and/or parenting.

Some possible ideas if you want them:

Unexpected pregnancy

Going into labour at an inconvenient time

Adopting/unexpectedly gaining a child

Dealing with a sick/cranky baby or child

Milestones - first word, first step, first birthday, first day of school, etc

How pregnancy/parenthood works in fictional species/cultures

Parenting from the child's perspective - what do they think of their guardians?

The theme for February is Marriage and Engagement. Your characters can be proposing, planning their wedding, getting married, celebrating an anniversary, or whatever you want as long as it revolves around marriage and/or engagement.

Some possible ideas if you want them:
